1. Plan the layout

Today, you'll recreate a comic book panel of a scene from your favourite film, book or show.

The picture shown in the example is a scene from the story The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. You can create a scene from whatever story you like.

What story would you like to create a scene for today? Think about:

• What is your favourite book, film or show? Alternatively, you can use a scene from a story of your own!
• Is there a simple scene from that story? To start with, try to limit your scene to 3 or 4 characters and/or objects.
• What will your storyline be for this scene? A storyline describes the picture in a comic book, for example: "Lucy Pevensie discovers the entrance to Narnia!"
